Expiry
Account senders choose how long a link remains live. A no-account send expires automatically after 7 days.
Privatt Send
Write a confidential message, encrypt it in your browser, and share an expiring link. Try one text send without an account. Your recipient never needs one.
Privatt stores ciphertext, not the message your recipient reads.
A separate passphrase is required to release and decrypt the message.
Expiry, view limits, and revocation keep access from remaining open forever.
From your browser to theirs
The readable message and its passphrase never need to reach Privatt.
Enter the message and choose a passphrase. Your browser creates a content key and encrypts the message before uploading anything.
Send the secure link through one channel. Share the passphrase another way, such as by phone or in person, so they do not travel together.
Your recipient enters the passphrase and their browser decrypts the message. Privatt never receives the readable result.
Two-channel access
Send deliberately separates where the encrypted message lives from the secret that opens it. Your recipient brings the two pieces together only in their browser.
Copy it yourself, or, from an account, optionally ask Privatt to email it. The link contains no passphrase.
Tell your recipient in person, by phone, or through another trusted channel. It is never stored by Privatt.
Anyone with only the link cannot open the message or test passphrase guesses offline against data stored by Privatt.
Access on your terms
Choose how access ends, keep delivery deliberate, and revoke the message if plans change.
Account senders choose how long a link remains live. A no-account send expires automatically after 7 days.
Optionally cap successful unlocks. When the final allowed view is used, the message cannot be opened again.
Account senders revoke from their sent list. A no-account sender receives a separate management link, shown once.
From an account, you can ask Privatt to email the link. This discloses the recipient address to Privatt only while the message is live. The passphrase is never included.
Paid accounts can attach one file up to 250 MiB. The browser encrypts it before direct upload, and the recipient decrypts it locally.
Before the no-account composer opens, Cloudflare Turnstile runs on a separate origin. It can receive IP and browser signals, but never your message, passphrase, or secure links.
The honest boundary
Every Send message is end-to-end encrypted. Metadata needed to operate the service remains visible.
Start where you are
The recipient experience stays the same at every level: open the link, enter the passphrase, and decrypt in the browser.
No account
Send one encrypted text message from this browser. It expires after 7 days, and a one-time management link lets you revoke it.
Free account
Send up to 100 encrypted text messages per calendar month, choose expiries up to 14 days, and manage links from a sent list.
Any paid Privatt plan
Remove the monthly text-message cap, choose expiries up to 30 days, and attach one encrypted file up to 250 MiB. Anti-abuse rate limits still apply.
Straight answers
You can send one encrypted text message from this browser without an account. Create a free account to send more and keep a sent list. Your recipient never needs an account; they only need the link and the passphrase.
The link alone cannot open the message. Your recipient also needs the passphrase, which you share separately. Never send the passphrase alongside the link.
No. Your browser encrypts the message before upload, and the passphrase never reaches us. We store ciphertext without the key needed to turn it back into the message.
You can set a view limit, and account senders can choose an expiry. No-account sends expire after 7 days. You can revoke from your sent list or with the one-time management link provided after a no-account send.
